ETIP Training Funds Available
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Development has awarded Prairie Tech Learning Center a multi-company Employers Training Incentive Program Grant (ETIP). This grant is a 50% matching grant for manufacturers in the West Central Region to take advantage of training opportunities. read more

Chamber Promotes Home Beautification & Cornhusking Event
Twenty-five community members and guest met for a pizza-party meeting at Roseville Lanes & Diner Thursday, March 20. Matters discussed included beautification projects, grant funding, and the National Cornhusking Contest. Village residents will be vying for a monthly home beautification competition beginning in May and concluding in October. The Chamber will award a prize of $50 for the residences, with a new winner each month. read more

High school lobbyists win grant
Biggsville - A group at West Central High School has been awarded a grant to further its promotion of an expanded U.S. Route 34 and safer drivers. The students belong to 34VOICES, one of 105 high school groups in Illinois to win a $2,000 grant for highway safety programs. read more
